LEARN ABOUT WHAT WE DO
Despite the magnitude and importance of Indonesian biodiversity, the international scientific community has focused its attentions elsewhere. Lack of interest in studying Indonesian biodiversity has limited our knowledge of Indonesian biodiversity and has slowed the growth of the Indonesian scientific community. Aligned with one of its goal, BIONESIA aims to promoting research related to Indonesian biodiversity, which will expect to be of support for the Indonesian conservation management.
Human resource is an important asset to be prepared for the sake of protection of Indonesian biodiversity. Depending on this biodiversity for economical and social reasons, education on the importance of Indonesian biodiversity needs to be introduced into the society. Through its activities and program, BIONESIA aims to share knowledge and skill between scientific communities in order to increase the capacity of Indonesian researchers and students in performing research related to biodiversity.
